Whites Hot Stick 7/8 dia. X 36 (extended) hand-held 6.59khz detector probe
Whites "Hot Stick" 7/8 dia. X 36 (extended) hand-held 6.59khz detector probe NEW old stock. Tested and works as intended. FEATURES: Detector requirement: Made for 6.59khz Whites Metal Detectors Size: Compact 7/8 inch diameter tip, 36 inch long when extended. Sensitivity: Sensitivity and search field of a regular 4 inch to 6 inch Loop.

Detection Accessibility: Probing deep crevices, under rocks and boulders, down core drill holes, down into sand and silt, probe a river banks, probe the roof of a cave. Waterproofing: Waterproof up to detector connector. Ground Balancing: Ground balancing capability.

Mineral Rejection: Easily reject mineral responses. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS for "Hot Stick" Crevice Probe: Manufactured by 3D Electronics, Lebanon, Oregon, for White's 6.59khz Metal Detectors (ie: 6000/D). The "Hot Stick" an all new concept in metal detector technology combines the sensitivity and search field of a regular 4 inch to 6 inch Loop, into a compact 7/8 inch diameter hand-held detection probe. Now search places newer before accessible with conventional style loops.

Probing deep crevices, under rocks and boulders, down core drill holes, down into sand and silt, is made easy with the revolutionary "Hot Stick". Operation of the "Hot Stick" is virtually identical to that of the conventional eight inch loop that came with White's 6000/D, with the possible exception of the ground balance procedure.

To easily reject mineral responses, keep the "Hot Stick" straight up and down (vertical) to the ground and raise and lower the "Hot Stick" 6 inches above the ground. Adjust the ground balance control so that little change or no change in the tone loudness or meter reading occurs as this procedure is performed. Sometimes the operator will notice a slight Increase or decrease in the tone loudness and meter reading on the detector as the "Hot Stick" is swept through more than a 90 arc.

When the :Hot Stick is raised (to probe a river bank or raised overhead to probe the roof of a cave) momentarily depress push-button on detector to re-tune at that position. This effect is due to an interaction between the internal components of the "Hot Stick" and the magnetic field of the earth. This effect should decrease with time as the probe becomes de-magnetized. The "Hot Stick" crevice probe is a very versatile, flexible accessory for any metal detector. It should open up new areas to search never before available to the treasure hunter with conventional equipment The "Hot Stick" is completely water proof as long as the connector at the end of the cable does not come in direct contact with moisture.

Please check photos for details. Please make sure your Whites detector coil connector is compatible with this "Hot Stick" coil.
