This Carbon Fiber rod has a heavy duty, black powder coated aluminum arm cuff and my new Shaft Lock (no cam to get crapped up). Picture shows a "glossy" CF shaft, but, I also have it in a Matt (non-glossy) finish. Handle has a clamp so you can slide it along the shaft and the arm cuff has six positions so you can set it up to suit yourself. You can move the weight of the pods back by moving the handle and arm cuff forward on the shaft.

Want a 2-piece shaft for easier packing? Remember, your coil rod is 24", so, there is no point in making the upper shaft any shorter, unless, you are short and you think a 36" shaft is too long for you.
