This listing is just for the Upper & Middle Shafts, you still have to use your stock Equinox coil rod, arm cuff and of course the Control Head/Handle. Two of my "New" Plugger Shaft Locks are included and there is absolutely no wobble!
Wearing gloves, no problem with these locks! Shaft is drilled for the stock arm cuff 3-holes spaced 1" apart starting 1-7/8" from the end. There are also 3 positions (holes) for the handle, starting at 11" from the end of the upper shaft and spaced 1.5" apart (11", 12.5" & 14). There are no holes in the middle shaft for adjusting the stock coil rod. With my new shaft locks you can slide the coil rod all the way in for transporting the detector, assembled length becomes 45" or lengthen it out to about 65".
No "cam" or "flip levers" to freeze up or get out of adjustment. Great locks for telescoping shafts!Both shafts together weigh about 7ounces. Shaft Lock has a Star Knob and 316 stainless steel bolt. Longer lengths are also available by request. For packing purposes, Upper Shaft is about 20" and Middle Shaft is about 26" long, however, it is also important to note that the stock coil rod is 24 long.
