Both Patriots and Eisenhowers are made in the US and both have better than average build quality. The Patriots have a slightly larger, square shaped ear muff and a significantly longer wire cable an amazing 65 inches! The straight portion of the cable is longer and allows for attaching to the end of your detector shaft. Velcro it to the shaft to eliminate accidental "tugs" on the cord that could cause damage to the plug. Great sounds, loud volume, good build quality and all day comfort.
