Very rare set of three Metal Detector Search Coil'Loop Testers:' electronic search coil testing machines -- the large one is quite complex and performs multiple test functions - it tests White's, likely DFX and MXT series, as well as after-market products made by Applied Creativity like the'Magnum Force Field' series and the legendary'Bigfoot' coil -- the smaller units test Fisher and Garrett coils respectively and incorporate rechargable batteries for field use I suppose -- all three units have the same input plug as the White's shown in the photos (not sure if they need a conversion cord to patch into them, or if there were series made by Garrett and Fisher, with the same plug as the White's) -- the larger unit measures 4 1/2 by 15 by 15 in. / the smaller are 5 by 10 by 10 in. - several instruction sheets that seem relevant are included as well as the wall charger unit -- -- from the estate of the Applied Creativity/Discovery Electronics factory in Sweet Home, Oregon near the White's Factory -- these units were designed and manufactured for, and likely by, the'Loop Wizard,' Jim Karbowski, the fellow who ran Applied Creativity. Some wear to the cases from use -- rechargable batteries in the smaller units need replacing and there may be a little damage to the battery holders [I don't think batteries are needed for them to function with the wall charger unit] -- all were tested for basic functioning, with all showing life on the gauges -- the largest unit had noticeable movement on two gauges when I hooked a White's coil to it and passed it over a pile of coins - the other two did not react to that same White's coil but may not be designed to test in that fashion, or they may simply not work with the wrong type coil-or they may need batteries -- -- always listing Histor ical Tech.
