Garrett 5" X 8" Waterproof DD Multi-Flex Ripper Coil for Ace Apex Detector. The 5" x 8" DD Multi-Flex Ripper submersible searchcoil has a compact size that is ideal for searching in tight spaces, working through rocks, and in trashy areas. This searchcoil is specifically engineered to perform with the Multi-Flex multi-frequency technology used by the Garrett.

The concentrated detection energy in a 5" x 8" Multi-Flex Ripper searchcoil makes it great for detecting fine jewelry, small coils, and even gold nuggets. The Multi-Flex Ripper coil is ideal for detecting in stubble fields and other tight areas, such as among roots, rocks, or heavily iron-infested areas. It is easy to maneuver and, because of its tight detection field, can be maneuvered closer to larger metallic objects like iron poles.

Detectors are not waterproof, the entire searchcoil can be submerged in water to search for lost treasure along the water's edge and in shallow creeks, streams, or swimming areas. Designed to work only with Garrett. As a result of the Multi-Flex coil technology, the Apex Ripper coil is not compatible with older ACE detectors. Prior ACE coils are not compatible with an Apex detector.
