Coiltek 12x8 Mono Coil for Minelab SD GP GPX Detectors

Hello and welcome to my listing! Up for sale is a used Coiltek 12-inch x 8-inch mono search coil. This coil fits Minelab SD, GP, and GPX metal detectors. I have tested the coil with my Minelab GPX and it is working properly. The cable was cracked at the strain relief so I have wrapped it with electrical tape. Originally this coil was waterproof, but due to this cable cracking and repair, I do not guarantee that the coil is still waterproof. It looks like somebody has rounded off the nut that attaches the cable to the coil.

The cable does not easily come unscrewed from the coil, so I do not recommend trying to just replace the cable unless you send it back to Coiltek to do the repair. I have added white electrical tape to secure the coil cover to the coil.

Please see photos for additional condition details. This would be a good, inexpensive addition to your coil arsenal for dry conditions. It still has plenty of life left in it.
