Carbon Fibre Telescopic Shaft to fit Minelab Equinox (600/800) Metal Detector
PLEASE NOTE THIS LISTING IS FOR THE TELESCOPIC STEM & ITS COMPONENTS ONLY, IT DOESN'T INCLUDE THE EQUINOX DETECTOR AND ITS COIL AND ARMREST. Fully Telescopic Carbon Fibre shaft in Red / Black check or Matt Black check to fit the Minelab Equinox 600/800 Metal Detector range. The shaft fully closed measures 21" (53cm) fully open 52" (132cm). We have designed an anti-rotational channel that runs the whole length of the shaft to stop the shaft and control box twisting sideways, this also adds extra strength to the whole shaft. The Control box lower clamp has been moulded and modified to fit in the anti-rotational channel. New CTX style round thicker washers have been moulded to replace the original teardrop Equinox washers to help reduce over tightening of the coil bolts. There are two washers inc plus two spares. Stem clamps are moulded once again to our own design. Levers for the clamps are fixed with fully adjustable Stainless steel Allen key bolts and Nylon lock nuts. We have also included a free Allen key to change the Control box lower clamp.
The Telescopic shaft kits are coloured either all Red/Black check or all Black check to match. Coil end brackets are either red or black also to match. All parts of the shaft including the coil bracket, control box clamp, washers, stem clamps and levers and also the stems themselves are moulded rather than being 3D printed like others have done. This has been very costly but ensures full strength to our product. The shaft was totally designed by Scott Ellis a very good and long time friend of mine from the Minelab owners online fraternity.
